Responsible for server builds. OS installation and patch management. Install and maintain software products as needed. Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, OS, system sofiware,network, SAN, NAS etc. Automate repetitive tasks through shell or Perl scripting. Tunes system software for peak performance and availability. Provide 24/7 on-call application support on the UNIX/Linux systems in rotation with other team members. Must have Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems or Bachelor’s degree in above-mentioned.
